Are you passionate about making a positive impact on healthcare? Here at Apodi we are recruiting for a newly created NHS Business Development Manager role. We are seeking a dynamic and results driven individual to lead our strategic expansion directly into the heart of the NHS. As the NHS Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving and accelerating the growth of Apodi’s core patient programmes and homecare services, ensuring that our innovative solutions reach those who need them the most.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Partnership Building: Identify, develop, and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders within the NHS, including clinicians, business managers and other key stakeholders across varied therapies. Identify opportunities for collaboration and partnerships to enhance the delivery of Apodi’s patient and homecare programmes, directly into the NHS.

  • Programme Customisation and Integration: Work closely with internal Apodi colleagues including Business Development, Marketing, Project Managers as well as the Senior Leadership Team to tailor Apodi’s patient and homecare programmes to meet the specific needs and requirements of the NHS.

  • Business Development: Develop compelling proposals and presentations that showcase the value and impact of Apodi’s solutions. Clearly articulate how our programmes align with NHS objectives and contribute to improved patient outcomes.

  • Hybrid Working: This is a National role. Working virtually and travelling as required. The Apodi head office is based in Maidenhead.


  • Proven track record in Business Development/ Key Account Management.

  • Demonstrable industry experience of solution selling to the NHS.

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent.

  • In- depth understanding of NHS structures, policies, and decision-making processes as well as other Healthcare, Pharmaceutical and Biotech Industries.

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (oral, written and presentations) and an engaging style.

  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking and research skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with an open approach to new ideas and ways of working.

  • Advanced user in MS products, and ability to embrace new technologies.

  • Full UK driving licence (maximum of 6 penalty points). Own vehicle and ability to travel throughout the UK as required.
